Priscilla Kibbee

I love to travel all over the globe shopping for textiles to add to my wearable art. I have taught quilting to school children in Nepal, seminole patchwork to seamstresses in Thailand, and jackets and embellishment to quilters in Turkey where I also served as a judge at 2 of their International Quilt Shows. I have created garments for 5 Fairfield and Bernina Fashion Shows and teach classes on embellishment and wearable art. Lately I have been leaning more toward making art quilts.

Trip to India & Nepal- The Trip Ends in Delhi

The beautiful fruit and vegetable displays always make me sorry we don't have these markets in the US.

A local tailor. They are always men

The carrots were a redder variety.
Hmmmm. ......I wonder what that's all about.

These oxcarts are a frequent sight on the streets near our hotel.

As were small peddlars carts.

A mobile police car. There was a huge explosion in this area a few years ago by radicals of shoppers on the eve of a holiday.

A Male urinal.

Probably another hotel being built across the street from ours.

The view from the rooftop restaurant.
